Professor Dr. Andrea Fröchtling
Professor Dr. Andrea Fröchtling worked at the University of Applied Sciences for Intercultural Theology in Hermannsburg as lecturer for Practical Theology in intercultural perspective and for International Diakonia.
She was a pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Hanover and had previously worked in the South African context, inter alia for the South African Council of Churches and for HIV & AIDS programmes of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa. Her research interests included questions of migration and justice, gender and diakonia from an intercultural, justice-based perspective.
It is with great sadness that we learned of her passing shortly before Christmas of 2021.
