Surya Prakash

Bishop Emeritus Dr. Surya Prakash

The Rt. Rev. Dr. P. Surya Prakash (Emeritus) was Bishop of the Karimnagar Diocese of the Church of South India from 2007 until his retirement in 2014.

Beside his pastoral work, he studied for his doctoral thesis at the Kirchliche Hochschule Bethel. He also worked with the Evangelisches Missionswerk in Südwestdeutschland (Protestant Mission in South Western Germany). Read more about him here.

With two daughters and his grandchildren living in Germany, Bishop em. Surya Prakash and his wife visit Germany on a regular basis.
